Day 1 CHAMPASAK – BEGINNING OF CRUISE (L, D)
In the morning, Laos River Cruises will pick you up and transfer you to the point of the Vat Phou Cruise at 9:30 AM.
NOTE: Depending on the up or downstream departure, the order of the itinerary is subject to change.
Afterward, it will take around two and a half hours by long tail boat to arrive at the docking point of Vat Phou in Champasak. After the check-in reception, you will be served lunch at 12:30 PM.
The first destination on the cruise is the Vat Phou ruins which date back to the 10th century. Here you can find structures reminiscent of the Angkor Wat and the beauty in the name of Vat Phou. Take a tour around the museum and make your way up to the highest temple for some photo opportunities.
As the sun retreats on the horizon, we arrive back to Vat Phou to cruise to leisurely observe the magical scene unfold in the serene land. Enjoy dinner as the boat moors overnight by a typical riverside village.

Day 2 VAT PHOU CRUISE (B, L, D)
Enjoy the breakfast then we will reach the Tomo sometime this noon. Docking at the shore, you will take a few-minute hike to the alluring temple of Oum Muong surrounded by the dense forest. After a thorough exploration, return back on board for lunch at 12:30 as we continue sailing.
Then we arrive at the most distinct highlight of the trip - the 4000 Islands. Then continue to Ban Deua Tia a charming traditional village tucked between the riverways. Make a brief stop at the local village to spend some time interacting with the inquisitive students. Return back on board as we arrive to Don Khong at around 04:30 PM. Enjoy dinner on board.

Day 3 END OF CRUISE - CHAMPASAK (B)
Early departure today at 7:00 AM, we will continue to reach Ban Veuthong – another typical village. Afterward, visit the railway that was built during the colonial time along with a few other buildings on Khone Island. Pass the bridge that leads to Det Islands. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on land.
The afternoon will be spent at Khone Pha Pheng Waterfalls also known to some as the Niagara of the East. You will check out of the cruise in the afternoon.
